What place does an atheist have in this?

Greater Grace

As the Lord has abundantly blessed us with His grace and mercy, we have seen the greatest of all miracles coming to pass here at Greater Grace. The salvation and discipleship of people formerly lost or held captive by sin has become the regular business here. These souls, often very hurting, sad, empty, and hungry, are so grateful to the Lord for loving them. Nothing could satisfy more, nothing could possibly inspire with greater hope, and nothing could cause more contentment than knowing the fellowship of our savior, creator, redeemer and friend, Jesus Christ.

Religions can, and have through the ages offered answers for living life, offered rituals that give us a sense that we are in control of our spiritual destiny, but none can offer the life that Jesus offers by literally giving us His Spirit. I tell you the truth; no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

Our message to the world is JESUS IS THE CHRIST! Jesus is the one and only messiah, savior of mankind, creator of all created, and God with us. Jesus loves you and died in your place so you might have life. Jesus paid for your salvation and desires for you to believe in Him. His message is redemption, and He has promised not to stop there. Sin has the effect of being temporarily fun, pleasurable, exciting etc. but it always ends up producing misery. We all come to Jesus hoping for change, hoping for an end to the misery that plagues us. Well more Good News, Jesus is also our deliverer and is in the constant process of sanctifying us and blessing us. Sanctification occurs at different speeds for different people depending on ones knowledge of Gods Word, ones obedience to Gods Word etc. But Jesus promises that HE is faithful to complete the work that HE has begun in us!

It is important to remember, that it is Jesus finished work at the cross that has redeemed all who believe, through faith alone in Jesus alone. And because Jesus died in our place, the Father looks at us as if He were looking at Jesus. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. If you have believed in Jesus, you are redeemed, and Jesus has promised to never leave you. You are now a new creation, and in this way you are a complete and finished work. As you deal with everyday life and the troubles, trials etc. it helps to know that this is how God sees you.

It is such a privilege to serve a loving God. I want to invite EVERYONE to call upon Jesus. You might ask What nerve? Who does this guy think he is? Well, Ill tell you, my motivation is love, not nerve, and as for whom I am, just a nobody trying to tell everybody about Somebody. I mean it when I say I want to invite every one, I want to invite Church goers, I want to invite religious people from the Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Zoroaster, Bahai, Mormon, Jehovah Witness, Catholic, Protestant, New Age, Wicca and any other you may be a part of to simply go to God in prayer and ask Him, If You are God and if Jesus is Your Son, If You died so that I could live and if it is true that you will give me the new life of Your Holy Spirit then take my life and I will trust in You. I promise you that Jesus will prove Himself to you in such a perfect way that you will never doubt Him again. He loves you. He wants you to know that He loves you personally.

For those who may ask What place does an atheist have in this? I invite you too, come along, go with us, you are welcome, we love you for who you are and God loves you more than we are capable of loving. You may join us at the Coffee House, attend a local Bible study or Church if you wish or even go along on a mission trip. Maybe you are thinking, NO THANK YOU! That's ok, we are not offended, but we welcome you anyway, simply because when you go with us and see our God leading us to the left and we go left and then see Him leading us to the right and we go right, you will see that our God is alive and intimately concerned with our wellbeing and also with yours.

We are devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ and YOU are His cause. So we join Him today in going to the highways, and byways to seek out any and all that will come. Jesus really loves you!
