Here we are again, approaching the most wonderful time of the year, the Birthday of our Savior. What gift will you bring to our King? Lets think about this for just a minute. What gift did He bring? God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Yes, God gave us His Son, who lay down His life for us that we might live. Many of us have a house, a car, a kitchen full of food, and we consider these the basics. If we are well off in American terms, we may have a boat, a large screen TV, a nice yard and an expensive pet, a computer, an X Box and many other things. But what meaning do all these material things possess? Let us be reminded by the greatest gift giver of all what is really important, as we prepare to celebrate His Birth. The magnificent and most Holy Jesus gave us Himself, He gave His love to little children, He gave food to the hungry, He gave forgiveness and hope to the woman at the well, who had many previous husbands and now lived out of wedlock. He gave without asking in return, and often gave love in the most radical of all ways, in forgiving those who rejected Him. Let us consider, what a friend we have in Jesus, as He bids us Come unto me all ye who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.

At Greater Grace Christian Coffee House we endeavor to share the Good News that Jesus gave His life that all people may be free. His miraculous birth, of a virgin mother, on a cold winter night, placed in a manger, spoke of the humility with which Jesus comes into our lives personally. He knocks at the door of each persons heart and asks is there a place for me? It is our prayer this Christmas that each of you are forgiven, accepted, loved, and blessed to know Jesus Christ personally. If you question the truth of the living Jesus, its ok, He understands. Just ask Him, Jesus, if you are real please come into my heart. I can tell you from my own experience that Jesus will prove Himself to you in such a perfect way that you will never doubt Him. Merry Christmas!
